I've had problems with the car I share with my ex, so I'm now going to share my boyfriends car. This does come with some problems if you both need the car for diferent things at the same time, but genreally it works out fine, and save lots of money on insurance, tax, MOT's and services.

Its surprising how you can manage on one car if you have to. We do as a family of 3 plus a dog. When we did 'need' two cars our second was a small van. This was great for renting out to friends or picking up large items from shops instead of paying for delivery.

We have one car and its amazing how you can manage. We used to have two vehicles when I was going out to work. Our second one was a small van! It was brilliant. Saved money on deliveries - we could collect large items, only one trip to recycling centre per month as we could load it up, etc, etc. I would highly recommend it.
of course it really make a big difference though saves a lot of money and in insurance.... but what if you guys have different directions and time??? who'll use the car? you or your boyfriend?
