I know competitions are down to chance a lot of the time, but if you enter enough you are going to win something every now and again. However there are things you need to take care with. Often competitions charge for you to phone or text them, but you can sometimes enter on the web for free, or post entries so just pay the price of a 2nd class stamp rather than a first class one.
There are lots of competition sites on the Internet that you can go in for. I must say I haven't had much luck with them, but have won odd prizes. However I didn't spend much time doing them. Perhaps others know of good online sites to try on.
